Face cushions for Varjo XR-3, VR-3 & Aero

How do I replace the cushion? 

The face cushion is attached to the original helmet interface by hook and loop fasteners and can be easily replaced.

1. Gently pull the cushion from one of the corners and lift it out. 
2. Attach a new cushion starting at one of the corners and push it firmly into place. 
3. Make sure that the cushion is free of creases and that it completely covers the hook and loop fasteners. 

Note that face pads used with other Varjo helmets are not compatible with the XR-3, VR-3 and Aero. 

 Good practices for taking care of the helmet and its users 

The COVID-19 pandemic has raised many questions among our customers about how to ensure hygiene and safety when using VR/XR headsets. 

But even outside of this major event, it is still essential to maintain good practices to avoid sharing bacteria, germs and viruses on our skin and in the air. 

• Change or wipe down leatherette foams between each user with non-abrasive anti-bacterial wipes 
• In a company: Reserve a dedicated face cushion for each employee
