Polhemus Patriot Wireless tracking system

The Polhemus Patriot Wireless is a magnetic wireless system offering 6 Degrees of Freedom. It allows tracking of up to 4 objects simultaneously, which can be used for head, hand, object tracking and biomechanical analysis. Unlike basic magnetic systems, the magnetic field is generated by the tracked object using a battery.

It is therefore positioned according to 1 or 2 receivers, which are themselves connected to the control unit. In addition, with a sampling rate of 50 Hz per sensor, the tracker provides a scalable system that allows for a larger area with an additional receiver.
